Arabic culture when greeting someone

Welcome to another lesson from LearnArabicWithMo. Ahlan Bik Fi Dars Akhr min LearnArabicWithMo.
Today We will discuss some of Arab people cultures when they greeting someone that you should consider when going to an Arab country.

When you introduce yourself in the Middle East or Northern African countries, it's polite to offer your right hand for a handshake or give three kisses on the cheeks, although the rules vary depending on where you are.

Arab people place great value on politeness, so for example, it is considered rude to enter a room or a place without greeting everyone. If you use the right sentence to introduce yourself, they'll definitely be impressed!

If you are about to speak with an Arab woman DO NOT offer your hand at first. Try to respect the culture of the people you are visiting. A lot of Arab women DO NOT shake hands. It is prohibited in Muslim Countries that a foreseen man can shake hand with a woman which is not his sister, mother, aunt etc.
If someone greets you and say "Asalaam 'alykum" which is "Peace be upon you". It is really polite to respond with the same greeting by saying "W 'alykum Asalaam" which is "Peace be upon you too".
