sSabah Alkhyr

the first way to say hello is sabah alkhyr which is "good morning". So for example if you go to school if you're meeting your neighbor in the morning and just usual morning greeting "sabah alkhyr" means morning clear means good so it's a literal translation of "sabah alkhyr". it's a full flower which is basically white and it has a very intense beautiful smell it has a very nice smell so you are wishing that person to have a beautiful day with a beautiful smell like the jasmine flower and to answer several here you should use "sabah alnuwr" as a good reply to "sabah alkhyr". "nor" means light it means the beautiful like sunshine light so basically you're washing them to enjoy the beautiful sunny day and so on so.
- "sabah alkhyr"

And both mean Good morning

Alan

The next word is "Alan" it means "hello". It is used when you're meeting someone for the first time maybe in a business meeting you would want to shake hands and say "Ahlan".

kayf halk?

It's kind of formal way to say how are you now about the news. It is translated as "How are you doing?". It always comes after "Ahlan" in the speech while speaking with someone. We respond to this question by saying 'ana bikhayr which means "I'm fine". In addition we can ask the same question again to the other person who speaks with you by saying "wa'anta?" which means "and you?" or "what about you?". So this is a really short question but you can use it only on this context.
- Ahlan - Hi.
= Ahlan = Hi.
- kayf halk? - How are you doing?
= 'ana bikhayr, wa'anta? = I'm fine, and you?
- 'ana bikhayr 'aydaan. - I'm fine too.
